His focus is to perform works on stage that combine music, projected imagery and sleight-of-hand illusions. David has presented three such shows at Soulpepper Theatre with Hocus Pocus (2016), Tricks (2015), The Conjuror (2014). For Luminato, he created two new shows Card Table Artifice (2014) and Natural Magick (2011). David was the feature subject on CBC’s Adrienne Clarkson Presents (1997) with “A Conjuror in the Making,” a film by Daniel Zuckerbrot, which also aired on the A&E network in the United States. The film won gold at WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival, and the Chris Statuette at the Columbus International Film & Video Festival.
